Blogging saves me
People blog for many reasons. Some blogs to share the world what they think about a particular issue. Some blogs about anything come across their mind. Some blog with money comes first as their to priority (hence the booming of autoblogging and MFA – Made For AdSense blogs.) Some even blog to rants and attack the Government, Google, Internet Marketers, and so on.

As of for me, I blog because I like to share what I know about life, business and such. I know a little about many things; I am also having interest to many things, as well, so I think blogging fits me well.

The first time I start to get serious about blogging is by establishing Noobpreneur.com. It was started as a personal blog (just like Lisa Drubec started The Friendly Blogger) and has grown into a multi-authored business blog. If you read Noobpreneur.com’s earlier posts, you might notice that I write about my ups and downs with my businesses.

I was the owner of 2 franchise units; due to my poor decision making and the recession, BOTH stores are going out of business. It was a hard blow for me as I was going to make my mark in the business world.

What worse of all that I’ve got a family to support – with 2 businesses were closing, our future seem bleak; and we are closing to personal bankruptcy. Not good.

But, hey – failures are the best teachers. For some reasons, I fortunately started blogging and make money online journey several months before I actually close my businesses. So I have had this sort of safety net – just in case my business fails (which they did!) I learn all by myself with the help of authority bloggers; so kudos to Darren Rowse and Yaro Starak for helping me – through their blog posts – to start an online business venture via blogging.

From my experience, I do have some tips to share with you:

  • Don’t start blogging with money come first in mind – it just won’t work! You might start-off well, but after one or two months you will experience burn outs. Then you’ll just leave blogging and rants to everybody that blogging and make money online sucks.
  • You CAN make money from your blogs. As long as you are responsible in monetizing your blogs (i.e. not spamming your readers with too many ads and affiliate offers,) you will be just fine.
  • Make money online from your blog by genuinely helping others, not by tricking others into believing that what you’ve got to offer is great (don’t do sales pitching in blog posts!)
  • Always share what you really know, not what you think you know.
  • Don’t lie to your readers to boost your rep – they know whether you are genuine or not.
  • Blog with authority – rants are okay, on occasional basis; give useful info and tips to your readers and teach them to be better – without asking anything in return; giving back to the community rocks!
  • So, there you go. I hope this blog post inspires you to build a blog and start blogging.
