Bloggers: Why You should Add Your Google Plus Profile to FindPeopleOnPlus Google Plus Directory

google plus directoryI was just looking for blog post ideas for my directory blog, and I stumbled on an interesting web directory – it’s a Google+ directory from which you can search for Google+ profiles based on name, profession, location, etc.:

FindPeopleOnPlus.com.

The Google Plus directory is currently listing almost 10 million Google+ users, and is most probably the most popular Google+ directory on the web today. It is featured on CNN, MSNBC, Mashable, and many more – so, it’s really popular I guess…

Google+ is darn popular today (read Lisa‘s blog posts on Google+ here and here.) You should give Google+ a try! (here’s a reason why.)

Why you should add your Google+ profile to FindPeopleOnPlus?

The number one reason is: It’s free and easy to add 🙂

Just go to this page, add your Google+ ID and email address, authenticate your listing, and you’re done.

My Google+ profile is on FindPeopleOnPlus – please check out my profile page.

As you can see, the listing page is pretty useful. If you noticed, I have some of my sites listed on the page (also listed on my Google+ About page) – did you know that those links have no rel=nofollow attribute?

That’s mean that my FindPeopleOnPlus page will give one way backlink to my listed sites – it’s good for your blog’s link building efforts.

So, all you need to do now is to add your blog’s URL to your Google+ profile (edit your profile, and add your links in the “Link” section) – your blog web address will also be added to FindPeopleOnPlus.

Good luck in your blog link and traffic building efforts!

    • Sam,

I personally don’t see significant traffic coming off G+ just yet, but for personal branding purpose, I’ll say Google Plus rocks!

  • Have you tried this service? Because they ask my personal e-mail, are they spammy or something?

    • Kostas,

Of course – I’ve listed my G+ profile on the directory. I haven’t seen any problems with my email account so far 🙂 I personally don’t think they are spammy as they’ve built good rep by getting featured in major sites.
