A few months ago, I wrote a post about Marketing Your Site for Free. The premise obviously was how to use free methods for promoting your brand. I want to revisit this topic in regards to Blogger.
I keep checking my Google PR on this site and have yet to to rank at all. My Alexa ranking continues to improve daily however. When I do some research, I keep finding that anything outside of WordPress shouldn’t expect to have a decent Google PR. I just don’t buy that. I don’t buy much as my previous post states! I firmly believe that free methods of marketing are just as viable an option due to the sheer volume of internet users. Another great resource to find free traffic generation is Ana over at the Traffic Generation Cafe. Wonderful nuggets of wisdom over there.
With Twitter and Facebook as well as all social media marketing driving traffic to sites, why would I think any different? I don’t believe you have to spend gobs of money to start making money online. So, a few people asked me if I was going to move this blog over to WordPress. NO! I am making this my challenge now. I have entertained the idea of buying a custom domain name for this site, but that is all I will do with this blog. I want to be able to prove to people out there, you can make it with little to no overhead costs. Is that so wrong?
I will get this blog some PR with Google for crying out loud. I am learning new techniques everyday and doing my best to share them with you. I WILL develop a reader base and I am already making some money with this blog. I intend to capitalize on what I have learned and begin on the path to making full time money online. I am on my way and I hope to bring you right along with me.
